Woodburn Fiesta Fun Run

Registration is now open for the free Fiesta Mexicana Fun Run that will lead out this year’s parade!

Join us for this inaugural fun run that will lead out the Fiesta Mexicana Parade. Participants of all ages are invited to take part in this 1.5-mile run. Participants will begin the run on closed city streets starting at the Woodburn Aquatic Center, through downtown streets, and end at Legion Park. There will be one aid station with water and Gatorade available at about the mid-point through the run. All participants are encouraged to dress up! There is no registration fee to participate, but runners must pre-register. Event t-shirts are
available for purchase during the registration process for $10. Registration is open through the link below, at the front desk at the Aquatic Center or by calling us at 503-982-5288.

Lifeguard certification classes:

Lifeguard certification classes will be offered throughout the year at no charge to individuals who apply to work at the Woodburn Aquatic Center. If the lifeguard candidate wants to work at another facility there is a cost of $150 for the lifeguard course. This lifeguard course is taught through Ellis & Associates. Lifeguard class certification is free for anyone applying to work at the Aquatic Center. This class costs $200+ at most other Aquatic Centers around the region!

Our next class will be held August 7th & 8th from 8am – 5pm and August 9th from 8am to 1pm.
