Lifeguard certification classes:

Lifeguard certification classes will be offered throughout the year at no charge to individuals who apply to work at the Woodburn Aquatic Center. If the lifeguard candidate wants to work at another facility there is a cost of $150 for the lifeguard course. This lifeguard course is taught through Ellis & Associates.

Any swimmer dressed up as a mermaid, merman or aquatic creature can swim at no charge if you come in between noon-2pm. The top costumes will receive a fun prize.

Make a Splash Day Camp
July 23-July 27; 9am-noon.

Looking for an adventure full of learning, fun and the swimming pool? Spend the week making a splash with water games, arts & crafts, story time in the water and more! Ages: 4-9 years old. Cost: $35 per swimmer.

Cardboard Boat Races
Friday, August 10; Noon-3:30pm

Participants will be given 90 minutes, 1-roll of duck tape and an unlimited amount of cardboard to build their own boats! We will then race them across the pool and finish with a boat float to see whose raft stays afloat the longest! Prizes for the top finisher and most creative design. Suggested age 12+. Please register early so we can provide sufficient supplies. Cost: $6.

Neon Glow Splash Dance Party
Friday, August 17; 8-10:30pm

Join us after hours for an electric neon swim party. Open to students ages 12-17! Join us for a night of neon glow bracelets, lights, games, pizza, music and more! This year will feature a live DJ! Cost: $10 per person (includes at least 2 slices of pizza).
